In the begining

There I was, doing a completely innocent search for a lunchbox. I didn't want any old lunchbox, I wanted a 'gormet lunchbox' [sic]. I typed that into Google and the first result that came back was The Travelers Lunchbox. Not a site for buying lunchboxes at all but instead a fantastic food blog. From that moment on I was hooked.

This is an incredible site and has a number of links to other exceptional Food Blogs. I was in heaven - to finally find so many people who are obsessed with food like I am. I spent the better part of a weekend trawling through these Blogs. I was salivating just reading most of them.

The photos were another attraction for me. Having just received an excellent new camera, as a present from J, I was looking for a project to use it on. Hey Presto! taking photos of food - both of my interests in one hobby. What more could you ask for?

Being in IT was a big advantage as I was able to set up my own site (with the help of Andrew in work for all the web hosting queries)

It's not off the ground I picked up my obsession with food - my Mum and my sister
are just as obsessed. They are both in Ireland so there are many e-mails that go back and fourth with recipes and recommendations. I am hoping to add this information to this site so we all have access to it.

Who knows what path this site will eventually follow but in the meantime I'm having lots of fun with it. I have put all the recipes I have received by email on the site and I hope, over time, to make each one and accompany the recipe with a delicious looking photo.
