Blogging by Mail - posting my parcel

I've been looking forward to participating in a Blogging By Mail event for ages. I noticed recently that Stephanie of The Happy Sorceress was very kindly organising one and I wasted no time in joining up. Last week I received the postal address for El of El’s Kitchen who will be receiving my parcel in the next one to two weeks – according to the nice man in the post office. Lucky for me (and El) last Saturday was the first Saturday of the month so the Food Growers Market was on at Pyrmont. I was able to pick up some tasty morsels that I thought would travel well. I have to confess I was tempted to keep some for myself but I was good and went mad with the bubble wrap to try and protect these valuable goodies as they wing their way to NZ.

On another note I am a very happy girl now as my camera has at last been repaired. I can’t believe how lost I felt without it. Since J gave it to me last December it has gone everywhere with me. It was Murphy’s Law that I didn’t have it for the first three weeks that our new puppy, Teddy, was with us. No sooner had I recharged the battery than I took a photo of Teddy Boy on our cow hide rug. See if you can pick him out.
